Predicting Health Promoting Behaviour
Participant Information Sheet
My name is Anna Willcock and I am conducting this research as part of my Honours degree in Psychology at Curtin University. The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between health promoting behaviour and health value, health outcome expectancy, and perceived health competence.
What Participation Involves
If you are aged 18 years or over and wish to participate in this study, you will be required to complete an online questionnaire that is estimated at taking 10 minutes to complete. Data collected from this questionnaire will be used for academic purposes in the completion of a dissertation paper. Data may also be used in future research papers. By clicking the link below, you are consenting to participate in this study.
Confidentiality
All data collected from your participation will remain completely anonymous and confidential. Your responses will only be accessible to the researcher and her supervisor and will be stored in a password protected computer file. The only personal details recorded are your age and gender. Upon completion of the questionnaire, you will have the opportunity to enter a draw to win a $50AUD Amazon.com voucher. The competition entry will not be linked to your responses in any way.
Withdrawal from the Study
Involvement in this study is entirely voluntary. You have the right to withdraw from participation at any time, without it affecting your rights or my responsibilities.
