The School is located near the centre of the Bentley campus amid pleasant gardens. Curtin provides a safe and visually appealing environment in which to work. Both the academic and administrative staff of the School are committed to delivering courses with quality content and to creating a university experience where students feel their interests are looked after.

The Curtin School of Psychology is noted for the applied emphasis of its courses and for its research programs. In addition to the teaching and research activities, the School also runs a Speech Pathology Clinic and a Psychology Clinic. These clinics provide the opportunity for students to learn in real settings while also providing a service to the members of the public. They represent part of our commitment to the community and to the professions of Psychology and Speech Pathology. The courses offered in the School include: four-year undergraduate degrees in Human Communication Science and Psychology; a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology; a Master of Psychology degree with streams in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology and Organisational Psychology; and a PhD program. In addition the School offers a graduate course in counselling which is open to anyone with a degree in the field of human services (Social work, Nursing Teaching, Medicine, etc) and a Master of Science (Speech Pathology) that is a graduate entry qualification for people who wish to become Speech Pathologists.
