Elsa and Betty-May

Students from the Seychelles Island.

Elsa and Betty-May met when they were doing their A Levels and both had a strong interest in working with people. They both found that people always came to them when they needed to talk something over and so they decided that it would be great to know how to deal with these problems effectively.

Both Elsa and Betty-May were fortunate to gain scholarships from the Seychelles Island Government and were advised that Curtin was the best place to study psychology.

Seychelles Island is a very warm place so experiencing the start of winter in Perth is a bit of a shock to them but otherwise they are enjoying being here. They both find everyone very friendly including other students, lecturers, bus drivers and shop assistants. They also both love the shops here in Perth.!!
